We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable professional with a solid foundation in medical information and hands‑on experience supporting high enquiry volumes in a fast‑moving environment. Curious, collaborative, and proactive, the successful candidate enjoys working in a scientifically focused setting and takes pride in delivering high‑quality, accurate information. They will stand out for their strong customer orientation, attention to detail, and ability to build positive connections across teams.

 

 

Candidate Requirements

 

  • Scientific educational background (Bachelor)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry predominantly in the medical information function.
  • Experience in a medical information role regionally and/or globally.
  • Proven track record of delivering high quality Medical Information assets and operating within various cross-functional projects to improve functional capabilities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English. Fluency in French or German would be beneficial.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

In this role you will support the Medical Information function at Idorsia and provide product specific expertise. Additionally, this role contributes to various Medical Information projects and processes such as content generation, enquiry escalation handling, metric reports, digitally driven solutions implementation, etc.

 

Specific accountabilities include:

  • Generates high quality Medical Information responses and FAQs to address HCP, patient and various other customer enquiries, whilst ensuring compliance and presenting the data in a fair and balanced way.
  • Supports the maintenance of a robust Global Medical Information process that is fit for the business requirements and is audit- and inspection ready. This includes responsibility for adhering to Medical Information SOP/Working Practices, database training (including training of internal/external partners), content generation planning/execution, and metric & insights generation to drive business decisions.
  • Support the management of any external agencies and partners involved in Medical Information.
  • Responsible for training internal teams, as required, in Medical Information processes.
  • Ensures cross‑functional collaboration with key partners.
  • Additional key activities include preparing reconciliation reports with Pharmacovigilance and Quality, as well as performing quality assurance on medical information enquiries.
  •  Supporting medical booths at congresses may also be required.
