Senior SAP Business Analyst - Finance Specialist

The Role

We're looking for a Senior SAP Business Analyst with a Finance (FI/CO) specialization to become the system and process owner for our SAP Finance modules.

If you love translating complex financial business needs into robust, compliant SAP solutions — and enjoy being the trusted bridge between IT, Finance and Controlling — this is your role.

You'll own end-to-end SAP Finance processes, drive data governance, keep us audit-ready (SOX, GDPR, GxP), and mentor junior analysts along the way.

What You'll Do

• Lead requirements workshops and process mapping across SAP Finance (FI: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting; CO: cost/profit centers, product costing, profitability analysis)
• Configure and validate SAP Finance solutions, supporting period-end close and financial reporting
• Define and enforce data governance and master-data harmonization for Finance data
• Own SOX / GDPR / GxP compliance and CSV documentation within your solutions; support internal & external audits
• Manage Finance projects and cross-module integrations (procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, reporting)
• Run user access reviews upholding segregation of duties (SoD)
• Mentor junior analysts and act as trusted advisor to Finance & Controlling

What You Bring

Must-haves

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline
• 5–8 years of SAP business analysis experience, with proven ownership of one or more SAP modules — ideally in Finance (FI/CO)
• Solid experience with data governance and regulatory compliance (SOX, GDPR, GxP)
• Working knowledge of SAP role design and segregation-of-duties principles
• Strong stakeholder management — able to explain technical matters to technical and non-technical audiences
• Very good written and spoken English

A plus

• SAP FI/CO certification
• Experience in pharma, life sciences or another regulated industry
• Exposure to S/4HANA and adjacent modules (MM, SD, Coupa touchpoints)
• German language skills
