We are seeking an experienced Senior Scientific Associate to join our dynamic and committed Technical Manufacturing Laboraties team

 


Job Responsibilities

 

  • Participate in the planning and execution of formulation and process development trials according to agreed protocols and plans.
  • Dispensing and sampling of materials. Operation of rooms and equipment according to internal procedures.
  • Prepare technical development documentation protocols for manufacturing processes according to internal standards. Provide input to development reports.
  • Conduct of IPC tests. Documentation and interpretation of the results.
  • Cleaning of operational areas and equipment according to internal procedures.
  • Responsible for inventory management of facility consumables, including raw materials, excipients, packaging materials, and personal protective equipment.

 

Candidate's requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years professional experience in pharmaceutical drug product formulation and manufacturing process development, preferably in the field of solid dosage forms.
  • Familiar with Quality by Design approaches.
  • High level of independency in conduct of experiments and technical development documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with the assembly, setup, and operation of equipment used in oral solid dosage form manufacturing.
  • Knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical safety procedures. Willingness to wear specific personal protective equipment (PPE) as required based on the OEL classification of the APIs handled.
  • Well-developed planning, time-management and organization skills.
  • Collaborative and proactive mindset.
  • Good communication and team working skills.
  • Fluent in English (German or French is an advantage)
