Idorsia HR Analytics & Digital Transformation function is responsible for analyzing data and providing solutions to various stakeholders in HR and business functions for addressing their personnel needs and enable evidence-based decision making.

We are now looking to expand our team by appointing a new role of HR Data Analyst to take ownership for the quality control and audits related to the people data across all global HR systems. Responsibility would expand to supporting the delivery of people analysis, trends and key insights by providing ongoing and ad hoc data analysis.


Job Responsibilities


  • Ensure consistency and maintain accuracy of people data across global HR systems 
  • Partner with internal HR stakeholders (Talent, Rewards, Operations) to modify and develop technology solutions that help to streamline and automate existing and new HR processes
  • Collaborate with HR, IT and Finance to understand needs for improvement, support new systems implementation and perform operational tasks within HR Information Systems
  • Support system and process improvements designed to improve efficiency and user experience in close collaboration with IT
  • Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scenarios for every new system implementation, application and features
  • Support internal users’ training on new system functionalities and business processes they address
  • Document internal processes and controls. Maintain accurate processing notes related to data entry into HR Information Systems.
  • Perform data quality checks and support data accuracy improvement
  • Provide accurate and timely HR data to support HR activities
  • Support ad hoc data analytics and reporting needs from internal stakeholders

Candidate’s Requirements 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management, Business Administration, Human Resources or related fields
  • Minimum 2 years of HRIS/HR system project support experience or previous experience with data quality control and system improvement initiatives
  • Strong technical skills and attention to details
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Curious problem solver with strong analytical skills
  • Genuine interest and ability to learn new systems and functionalities, previous experience with any HRIS is a plus (presently we use SAP SuccessFactors))
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel data management (e.g. using functions and pivots, etc.)
  • Strong and uncompromising work ethics and confidentiality
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken & written)
  • Authenticity and sense of humor
