Job Responsibilities

In light of building Idorsia’s organizational capabilities, we have opened a brand-new role focusing on designing, implementing, and advancing our digital transformation and analytics that blend business and HR data in order to capitalize on strategic data-driven decision making and to maximize deliverables of our diverse HR Projects.

  • Reporting to SVP, Head of Global Human Resources.
  • Working across all HR functions (Talent, Rewards, Operations) and systems as equally as effectively collaborating with Finance, IT and other key stakeholders.
  • Starting with understanding of the existing data- and system structure, it is expected form this role to identify critical improvement points, ensure quality control and data flow across systems and functions.
  • In full alignment with our business strategy and priorities this Manager will be responsible for leading development of critical performance indicators required for the present- and future state of our operating model (e.g. strategic workforce planning, optimizing recruitment channels and efficiency of their output, behavioral change indicators, etc.), and subsequently, for driving implementation of the relevant instruments to enable monitoring and decision making based on these indicators.
  • Building relevant applications and providing reporting and most importantly analysis and recommendations.
  • Applying statistics, predictive analysis, data aggregation and visualization skills this Manager will be responsible for delivering compelling solutions to business managers addressing relevant organizational and people challenges and linking typical HR data with the business / financial data.
  • This role is expected to drive behavioral change within HR and with other relevant stakeholders in the entire organization regarding digitalizing HR related programs and solutions.
  • In addition, this role is responsible to oversee all (off- and on-line) HR projects, mostly IT-related in order to streamline timing and resources, and to ensure cross-functional collaboration.


Candidate’s Requirements

  • University degree in the field of applied sciences such as, statistics, psychology, computer science, mathematics, economics or related fields.
  • At minimum 3 years of previous successful experience in the area of data analytics and digital transformation in an international for-profit organization
  • Experience in working with / implementing HR information systems or solutions would be a significant advantage
  • Pragmatism in decision making and creative solution finding skills
  • Proactive and “pioneering” mindset
  • Strong business acumen
  • Engaging and adaptive communication skills including effective management of diverse stakeholders
  • Proven track record of effective team-work in a diverse environment
  • Ability to quickly learn and ability to effectively educate diverse groups of people
  • Sense of humor
