Due to continued growth, we are looking for an additional Publications Manager to join our energetic and dynamic Publications team !


Key Responsibilities :


  • Support the strategic development and update of publication plans across one or several therapeutic areas

  • Facilitate the timely and ethical delivery of planned publications

  • Effectively and appropriately consult and liaise with internal and external authors and other publication stakeholders

  • Identify and drive process improvement and sharing of best practices to further enhance the efficiency of publication processes and system


Requirements :


  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant publication management experience within the pharmaceutical industry and/or a medical communication agency

  • Thorough knowledge of industry and publication best practices and relevant guidelines (ISMPP CMPPTM certification is desirable)

  • Experience in developing materials associated with publication planning and strategy

  • Proven ability to execute tactical publication plans

  • Proven ability to implement and/or maintain publication processes, standards, and systems – knowledgeof an electronic publication management system (e.g. PubStrat/DataVision) preferred

  • The ability to quickly develop a deep understanding of scientific data and terminology within a therapeutic area 

  • The ability to translate trial results into strong scientific communication points

  • The ability to work independently and within multi-disciplinary teams in a matrix environment

  • The ability to drive alignment cross-functionally and partner with key internal and external stakeholders; strong relationship management and influencing skills

  • Fluent in English, for both written and oral communication; native speaking preferred

  • Medical writing experience is highly desirable

  • Good organizational, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills.

  • The ability to work under pressure and meet short timelines without compromising quality.

  • Results driven attitude and good sense of urgency.

  • Analytical thinking; data and detail oriented.

  • Shares knowledge and expertise openly.

  • Good leadership skills, ability to manage reviewer comments internally and externally.
