Associate Director, New Product Introduction (NPI) & Supply Planning

We are looking for an Associate Director, New Product Introduction (NPI) & Supply Planning  to join our Global Supply Chain team to lead the end‑to‑end introduction of new products into the supply network, ensuring readiness across manufacturing, quality, supply planning, and external partners

 

This role translates program requirements into a compliant, scalable supply chain, manages risks, capacity, and inventory, and drives cross-functional execution to deliver products on time, in full, and at target cost while supporting global expansion and long-term supply performance.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

 

-Partnership Integration & Operations Leadership

 

  • Define and implement compliant business models in collaboration with TPL, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT.
  • Participate in supply agreements, leading supply chain terms, Incoterms, planning processes, and ordering procedures.
  • Coordinate Master Data collection for S4/Hana, and planning tools

 

-New Affiliate and Market implementation

 

  • Ensure all new affiliate models comply with internal requirements across Quality, Finance, Logistics, and
  • Coordinate and monitor new product introductions, ensuring readiness across supply chain, distribution, quality, and customer service teams, by preparing clear plan
  • Oversee and coordinate SAP or other ERP implementation linked to any new affiliate distribution set up
  • Create and maintain supply flow depicting material, quality and financial flows, for IT implementation
  •  Assess regional distribution flows, including cross-border supply routes

 

 -Strategic & Business Support

 

  • Contribute to the development of business cases for new markets, supply chain strategies, and operational changes.: Pros/Cons, cost analysis, benefits
  • Provide insights on operational feasibility and supply chain risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Quality, and Product Lead to support decision-making.

 

-Supply Planning

 

  • Develop and maintain short, mid, and longterm supply plans across assigned products, sites, or suppliers.
  • Convert demand forecasts into supply signals considering capacity, constraints, lead times, and material availability.
  • Monitor production adherence, material supply, and inventory positions; take proactive actions to avoid service risks.
  • Manage replenishment parameters (safety stock, MOQ, lead times, cycle times) to support service and inventory targets.
  • Administrative management of suppliers:
    • coordinate TechOps input in supply agreements,
    • coordinate organization of business review meetings
    • Review of established KPIs
    • Ensure follow up actions are defined and communicated to TechOps senior management and CMC leader

 

- Risk Management & Issue Resolution

 

  • Identify short‑ and long‑term supply constraints and propose mitigation plans (expediting, alternate sourcing, schedule optimization).
  • Lead or participate in root cause analysis for supply issues and track implementation of corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain multiple scenario plans to support decision‑making.

 

-Key Performance Indicators:

 

  • GMP and specifically GDP compliance, & HS&E
  • Adherence to KPI’s in the Service Level Agreement with 3PL
  • Monitor and report planning KPIs, using insights to improve performance.

 

 

Candidate’s Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in supply chain roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated healthcare industry.
  • APICS/CPIM or related professional certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GMP/GDP requirements and pharmaceutical distribution models.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and supply planning tools.
  • Proven experience in launching new markets, and supply planning
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and timelines in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent command in English (any other european language is a plus)
