The Role


The position supports the operational, management and execution of EUCAN supply chain activities, acting as first line management across the various components of the Supply Chain scope; embedding notably S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) Demand/Supply Planning, 3PL Operations, In-market Logistics and Order To Invoice.

The role ensures effectiveness of regional supply chain business operations engaging cross-functional collaboration with both global and local stakeholders (e.g., Commercial, Marketing, Quality Assurance, Finance, IT, Market Access and Regulatory).  

This position will also ensure consistency and stability in system and process aligned with Global policies, as local specifics, for SAP transactional set up and execution per Supply Chain framework.


Main Job responsibilities:


The EUCAN Associate Director of Supply Chain Operations reports to the Sr Director Head of EUCAN Supply Chain. In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for the management and execution for the EUCAN S&OP Process (Sales and Operations Planning). This role will work with the EUCAN country and regional commercial leads as global planning team, to ensure the development and implementation of robust supply and operations planning processes. The Successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a team who is deploying Supply Chain processes and controls in a dynamic and growing environment.
Main responsibilities and task:

Demand/Supply Planning:

•    Facilitate the EUCAN Regional/Country S&OP/IBP process in alignment with Head of EUCAN Supply Chain.
•    Facilitate Demand review and Regional S&OP meetings for implementation of end-to-end EUCAN supply chain, focusing on Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), outbound delivery and planning from 3PL to countries customers.
•    Supports other regional tasks for new product launch to market including but not limited to system and processes.

3PL Operation/Order To Invoice Activities

•    Manage and Monitor 3PL Partners Performance in the following areas (Order entry, Customer Service, Distribution and Inventory controls).
•    Performs transactions for Samples distribution in Veeva CRM System.


Candidate’s Requirements:


•    BA/BS (or equivalent) required, Master degree preferred.
•    Minimum 7+ years professional experience within Supply Chain in the areas of Demand and Supply Planning. New Product Launch experience is also desirable 
•    Excellent understanding and intensive experience of the Health Care and Pharmaceutical industry, those processes and regulations (Medical Device is an asset).           
•    Excellent functional SAP understanding and experience, to ensure reflection of all physical material movements.
•    Advanced skills in data analysis utilizing MS Excel is desirable.
•    Project Management experience including standard methodology of Gantt chart, project lead or support, and associated action plan management are a strong asset.
•    Understanding the functional as well as business environment, and able to have in depth comprehension of products, financial, physical, trade and transactional flows of Single Principal model Pharmaceutical/Medical Devices.
•    Ability on 3PL operations and performance management and be comfortable communicating with all levels of the organization, internally and externally.
•    Learn and be ready to manage complex situation through collaborative effort, with sense of urgency, good balance of strategical thinking and tactical approach, and with prioritization on tasks under dynamic business and market environment.
•    Cross-Cultural Resourcefulness-Ability and Agility to work in a complex matrix environment whilst respecting cultural differences.
•    Be a team player, while taking robust management role under the cross-regional and cross-cultural work environment.
•    English written and spoken
•    Any other European language is an asset, specifically German and French.
