Integration Engineer

We are excited to undertake the fascinating and challenging task of expanding our Business and Corporate System landscape and need your help to ensure the continued success of our data management and analytics team. To cover all aspects of integration, we are seeking an experienced integration engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data and application integration solutions.

 

Our primary tool for implementing integration projects is the SAP Integration Suite. While specific experience with SAP is not required, it would be advantageous.

 

 

Responsibilities of the Integration Engineer include:

 

Architecture, Design, Development, Release Management, and Support

  • Develop and support integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite to enable seamless integration between SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Serve as a cloud solution architect to deliver scalable and efficient solutions complying with industry standards and best practices.
  • Conduct end-to-end integration testing and troubleshoot issues to ensure successful rollouts, and optimal performance.
  • Provide ongoing user support and maintenance to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the system release process, including vendor management, coordination of validation activities, and execution of testing.

 

Evaluation, Collaboration, Recommendation, and Communication

  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and analysts to understand integration requirements.
  • Evaluate and recommend new solutions or technologies to enhance overall system stability.
  • Act as the main point of contact for system-related issues, collaborating with IT teams and software vendors on changes, fixes, and updates.


Documentation and Compliance

  • Create system-related documentation (SOPs, WISs, etc.) in compliance with relevant policies and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with CSV requirements (if relevant), IT Policies, and Standards.

 

Candidate's Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience, with a preference for 4 years in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • At least 3 years of experience in designing and implementing robust integration scenarios to ensure seamless connectivity between different systems, applications, and platforms.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (JavaScript, Groovy, XSLT) and query languages (SQL, SOQL).
  • Strong knowledge of message protocols (Idoc, XML, JSON (Rest), JMS, OData, EDIFACT, CSV) and transport protocols (AS2, HTTPS, FTP/SFTP, SMTP).
  • Extensive knowledge in system management and administration.
  • Experience in managing Software as a Service (SaaS).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand problems and present solutions to business partners.
  • Good analytical skills, with the ability to understand business requirements and transform them into IT solutions.
  • Independent and hands-on working style, team player, highly self-motivated, proactive, and change oriented.
  • Proficiency in English.
