Job Profile

 

 

 

The Manager Sales Force Excellence & Operations supports Idorsia’s DACH commercial organization by delivering high‑quality analytics, operational coordination, CRM support, and insight generation. This role is essential for enabling data‑driven decision‑making across Sales, Marketing, Medical, and cross‑functional business partners. 

 

The role will be supporting and coordinating the following tasks: 

 

  • Support commercial leadership (including the General Manager, National Sales Directors and Market Access) by analyzing key metrics and market data to generate actionable insights. Contribute to the development of tools and dashboards that support data driven decision-making (e.g., field KPIs, market performance, sales forecasting, business planning, digital and omnichannel initiatives). 
  • Assist with Sales Force operations, including territory alignment, sales force sizing, incentive tracking, and cycle objective calculations. Provide analytics and reporting for CRM and digital tools (e.g., PowerBI, Veeva CRM, Rep triggered emails, PRIMEUM). 
  • Support the brand planning process by collaborating with multiple functions and integrating insights from various data sources and contributing to the development of aligned, insight-driven brand strategies. 
  • Contribute to performance reviews by preparing and maintaining reports (e.g., Sales, Activity, S&OP), identifying trends, and highlighting key insights for internal stakeholders. 
  • Support the alliance director by providing him/her with timely insights about the impact of working of sales partnerships across the region. Create and own regular reports on alliance performance and communicate to relevant stakeholders. Where relevant conduct and/or support analysis that aid the selection of new partners. 
  • Support local data and analytics activities, including the collection, validation, and interpretation of sales and activity data (internal, in-market, sell-in/sell-out), as well as primary and secondary insights. Assist in the implementation of Business Intelligence tools and methodologies. 
  • Support the General Manager with ad-hoc analytics requests and presentation (i.e. data and insights visualization), for example for Board- or Business review meetings. 

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Analytics, Economics, Life Sciences, or a comparable field. 
  • 1–3 years of experience in analytics, sales force excellence, business operations, or commercial insights. 
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred. 
  • Excellent Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modeling). 
  • Strong experience with Think Cell and visualization of data. 
  • Advanced Power BI skills (data modeling, dashboard building). 
  • CRM experience, preferably Veeva CRM. 
  • Experience working with IQVIA datasets and Veeva Sales analytics. 
  • Fluent German & English.
