THE ROLE

 

The Associate Director Network Planning EUCAN is the key interface between Global Supply Chain Management and the Product Lifecycle Team and CMC, leading activities with key stakeholders responsible for Global Product Supply Chain management to ensure the product supply chain is configured to account for business decisions and is actively managed to ensure reliable and compliant supply to our customers. 


Key Responsibilities:

 

  1. Product Project Management:

 

The position Leads a cross-functional (PNT) Product Network Team consisting of, Regulatory, Sourcing, Packaging & Artwork Development, CMC, Quality, Master Data, Warehouse & Distribution and ad hoc operations representatives.  The PNT is responsible for:

 

  • New Product Introduction: 

Coordination of all supply chain, commercial activities leading to a successful launch of new products (eg. Long range supply plan, Forecast, first desired deliveries, Product flows mapping, Planning readiness, Master Data readiness, Artwork readiness, timely production, distribution and release of material in the market)
Initial focus in EUCAN region, but the scope will expand to worldwide geographies over time as the company develops its commercial footprint.  

 

  • Changes & Transfers Implementations: 

Coordination of all supply chain, commercial activities leading to a compliant implementation of changes in the product network, artwork version implementation. Provide supply chain input into change control process.  

The role also provides regular launch status updates to Executives across the commercial organization.
 

2. Product Network Planning:

 

  • The incumbent is responsible for managing the entire operational planning horizon for the assigned molecule. She/He defines and aligns inventory targets and safety stocks with each region and globally (Finished Goods, Drug Product, Drug Substance and critical Drug Substance Intermediates). 
  • The role will act as SPoC for each assigned manufacturing site leading the manufacturing site S&OP (Sales and Operation) meetings and will be generating inventory projections for the financial cycles. 
  • The Ass Dir Network Planning EUCAN Maintains and manages E2E product supply and demand plans in IBP.

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

 

•    7+ years of experience in Pharma Supply chain management function, or in various pharmaceutical functions (e.g. Internal and /or External manufacturing, Technical Development, global supply chain etc)
•    BA/BS (or equivalent) required; business administration is advantageous.
•    APICS and Project Management certification are an asset
•    The incumbent can mobilize and lead cross-functional global team
•    Ability to consult with senior executives on supply chain matters
•    Superior problem-solving skills with an ability to anticipate operational issues and recommend solutions
•    Able to understand the big picture and to focus or execute the details when needed:  strategic thinker with operative capabilities. Demonstrated leadership skills in a matrix organization
•    Self-directed individual
•    Can accommodate required international travel
•    English written and spoken. Any other European language is an asset, specifically German and French
