Job Profile

As our Digital Manager you will be part of the marketing team and working closely with the Brand Manager to maximize the value of Idorsia’s product for the treatment of chronic insomnia. Being an active team member, you will develop the digital marketing strategy and the annual digital brand plan for Idorsia based on in-depth knowledge of customer needs and market dynamics.

In your role you will create and manage a best-in-class operational framework for digital marketing and performance tracking. You will develop, manage, implement, and continuously improve our brand presence in all relevant channels (both patients and HCPs) and across brand funnel.

Your tasks involve but are not limited to:

  • Establish and execute a digital marketing strategy in alignment with the marketing team (global and local).
  • Plan, execute, and manage all digital marketing activities including SEO, email marketing (e.g. rep triggered email), websites development and maintenance and social media and keep oversight and strengthen the omni-channel approach.
  • Support the marketing team with the execution of digital programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all digital channels.
  • Support content creation and manage content development for websites, social media, emails, and other forms of digital communication.
  • Create and maintain an editorial calendar to deliver targeted content in collaboration with the marketing team/PR agency.
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional brand team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies and marketing techniques.
  • Conceptualize and execute on omnichannel campaigns, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging in all channels.
  • Stay up to date on the latest social media trends and implement them in marketing campaigns.
  • Identify, analyse, and measure trends and content to assess how well it is performing and optimize user experience accordingly.
  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting and extract key insights for future campaign development, strategies and recommendations on tactics by tracking and analyse consumer behaviours and trends.
  • Implement learnings into digital marketing campaigns by preparing reports and analytics on the overall performance of various marketing campaigns, including ROIs and KPIs.
  • Monitor digital campaign budgets.
  • Work with internal (global and local) and external stakeholders, partner with global IT team to design, test, and evolve tactics.
  • Train and present activities to sales team.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Marketing/ Communications or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant job experience (focus on digital marketing) .
  • You bring a solid track record in digital marketing from the pharmaceutical / healthcare industry, Rx, or OTC.
  • You have a strong drive for results, sense of urgency, and ability to deliver customer value underpinned by autonomous and effective decision-making abilities.
  • You are a creative thinker with a growth mindset, learning agility, and with the ability to develop innovative strategies and plans.
  • You have capacity for complex data analyses to optimize the brand and deliver on opportunities.
  • You can translate science into stories for patients and HCPs.
  • You are experienced in working collaboratively within global organizations and able to manage third party agencies.
  • You offer excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • You have a hands-on-mentality.
  • You are fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
