Idorsia has US operations based in Cherry Hill, New Jersey with 20 professionals supporting the clinical development of our innovative pipeline in North America.



Idorsia is looking for a new Administrative Assistant in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. This role will support executive leadership as well as perform tasks for the team located in the US such as travel planning, call routing, expense report preparation, event planning and other organizational tasks. To do this role properly the right candidate should have a detailed understanding of the full Microsoft Office suite, possess a positive attitude, thrive in a multicultural environment, and have experience as an executive or advanced-level administrative assistant in the past.




  • High school diploma
  • 5 years prior administrative experience, including 3 years supporting a corporate executive
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to communicate well with non-native English speakers
  • Ability to:

    • consistently exercise good judgment, adaptability, proactivity, and customer service
  • In-depth understanding of entire MS Office suite, including Outlook and Teams
  • Experience booking international travel



  • Ability to understand French, German, or another foreign language
  • Prior experiencing in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience with Concur or Coupa
  • IAAP Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) or professional certification in office management; advanced vocation training or college




  • Provide full administrative support to executive leadership (Site Head), including maintaining calendar and email
  • Provide assistance to other departments in the US
  • Organize domestic and international travel for employees
  • Prepare, review and submit purchase orders and expense reports accurately and by deadline
  • Maintain reception area and screen incoming calls, visitors and mail
  • Plan face-to-face meetings with regulatory agencies, including arranging meeting location, equipment, conferencing, catering, accommodations, ground transportation, and flights
  • Maintain breakroom
  • Manage overnight Courier Service and prepare weekly analysis reports of shipping costs per project codes
  • Independently manage varied activities and confidential assignments.




Job incumbent required to: talk, hear, and use fingers and hands to perform repetitive motions (computer work). Overall, the work is light to medium. Role will be required to lift and move up to 20 pounds occasionally. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and frequent reading of detailed regulatory and legal documents. As an office worker, will not be substantially exposed to any adverse environmental conditions.
