Receptionist/Facilities Coordinator

The Receptionist for Idorsia’s Radnor, PA site will support US Commercial Operations focusing on guest management and site administrative support.  This role’s primary responsibilities will be to interact and provide a welcoming and professional impression to visitors both in person & virtually as well as planned and impromptu administrative duties.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Greet persons entering organization; Direct persons to correct destination; Awareness of staff movements in and out of organization; Answer telephone, screen and direct calls; Take and relay messages. Provide general information to callers and applicants.
  • In support of Facilities Management, will order office supplies, coordinate with property management, create documentation and office wide communications.
  • Perform a variety of general office support duties; make copies, maintain calendar of activities, meetings, and various events; process mail including receiving, sorting, time stamping, logging, and distributing incoming and outgoing correspondence and packages.
  • Maintain lobby and conference room organization, cleanliness, and schedules
  • Work on projects within and outside of your designated department
  • Collaborate with peer administrative team to support cross departmental projects and events, cover for others while out of office or in times of increased workloads


Education:

 

  • High School/GED required.  Advanced degree preferred

 

Experience:

 

  • 5 years experience in an administrative support role with some or all of that time with Receptionist responsibilities
  • Verbal & written communications skills must be impeccable as the face of the organization both by phone and in person
  • Must be able to balance front office/reception duties with added tasks, both planned and unplanned
  • Must be well organized and able to communicate expectations on due dates and how unexpected requests will be accommodated
  • MS Office experience required and the ability to pick up new systems easily
  • Knowledge of customer service skills principle and practices
