The Director, Pricing, Contracting & Analytics is responsible for establishing and managing market access pricing & contract strategy as well as hands-on operational aspects that support portfolio products. Analytics responsibilities encompass Gross to Net projection and other Market Access programs.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop, manage and track all commercial and government invoicing procedures for quarterly AMP / ASP CMS reporting requirements.

- Average Manufacture Price (AMP), Best Price (BP), non-Federal Average Manufacturer Price (nFAMP) and Federal Ceiling Price (FCP).
- Submit all approved government pricing calculations to the appropriate government agencies within the statutory reporting deadlines.
- Communicate to 3PL, distributors, and other relevant external trading partners the annual FSS price and quarterly 340B price.
- Manage GTN (gross to net) projections, working closely with FP&A and Accounting teams, providing various rebate/discount liability projection, and assist FP&A team on GTN rate accruals for forecasts, budget and closing activities.
- Deliver all regulatory required reporting for CMS along with all internal finance and accounts receivable requirements.

- Maintains and updates all applicable SOP’s, SOX documentation and price calculation methodologies, including bona fide service fee assessments.
- Identifies and resolves compliance issues, questions, or pricing requests received from internal stakeholders, customers, government regulatory agencies, etc.
- Provides proactive and reactive analytics and insights that help improve forecasting, contracting decisions, pricing decisions and timing.
- Manages third party vendors involved in the government pricing process.
- Monitor, in collaboration with market access peers all “Days on Hand” inventory management and returns goods policy working closely with supply chain for future manufacturing requirements
- Maintain and report all 340b, Federal Supply Schedule and Government Pricing statutory changes as directed by statute
- Monitor State Transparency Reporting Protocols as established by law in coordination with Idorsia US Legal, Ethics and Compliance department
- Completes other State Pharmaceutical Assistance Program and Supplemental Program filings within the allotted time as applicable.
- Oversee all government chargeback programs required by CMS regulatory
- Maintain CMS Master Agreement File
- Monitor all current CMS government regulations and reporting requirements along with proposed changes which will impact Idorsia GTN or future financial reporting processes.
- Oversee and maintain the Medicare Part D Drug Discount GAP reporting as established by law.
- Post Deal analytics and review
- Provide analytical support for Market Access Field team
- Provide proactive and reactive analytics and insights to the business that helps improve forecasting, contracting decisions, pricing decisions, timing, and general business planning.
- Contribute to short and long-term pricing strategies and analyze healthcare policy to identify opportunities necessary to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/Master’s degree preferred.
- 10 years’ experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical/biotech industry with some or all of that experience in market access government & commercial contracting, pricing and gross to net analytics.
- Excellent modeling skills and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
- Working knowledge and familiarity of syndicated databases such as IQVIA, TRUVEN, ZITTER etc.
- Knowledge and experience with government programs and compliance
- Travel (approximately 5%)

Pay Transparency Legal Requirement: Salary Range $185,000 - 225,000.
