The Director, Portfolio Payer Marketing serves as a key strategic partner within the broader Marketing team and cross-functional partners, the most critical of which is collaboration with the Market Access team to ensure marketing and market access strategies are aligned. The role will be the brand lead for all market access/payer efforts.
This role will lead efforts to design innovative customer support and engagement programs to provide a best-in-class customer experience and help patients secure access across multiple brands. Lead all marketing efforts related to such programs and broader market access efforts, including development of national, regional, and local field resources. Important contributor to cross-functional bodies focused on evidence generation and value proposition development for multiple brands.
This is a hybrid role with most of the time spent at home office, with requirements to come to the office in Radnor, PA, as needed for meetings and other important events.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Collaborates with Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Marketing leadership to co-develop strategies and execution plans.

Coordinates regularly with Market Access colleagues to ensure alignment and pull-through strategy.

Designs and supports execution of innovative patient support programs (e.g. patient HUB, co-pay, adherence, etc.).

Leads development of key materials to support field sales efforts and marketing of patient/payer programs.

Attends regular cross-functional working sessions (e.g. evidence generation teams).

Supports ongoing engagement with marketing leadership to review strategic plans and stay aligned with overall launch/product strategy.

Responsible for budget and agency management.

Provides ongoing assessment of competitive landscape and overall performance.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree required/MBA Preferred

Minimum 10 years’ pharmaceutical industry with some or all of that experience in sales, HCP Marketing and Market Access.

People leadership. Must demonstrate excellent leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a matrixed and unstructured environment

Demonstrated experience in critical marketing competencies is required – must be innovative, proactive, and strong analytically with excellent business acumen

Ability to travel as needed to support key business-related activities/functions (~30%)
Preferred

Insomnia and/or hypertension sales/marketing experience

Experience with strategic planning and tactical execution

Experience assessing commercial insights and developing tools that are meaningful for HCPs, patients, and payers
